Love my new pitcher!
I got the Emile Henry pitcher a few weeks ago and it's fantastic. I was wondering if their products work on induction cooktops before I bought it, but decided to get the pitcher anyway since it's not a cooking item. It looks great on my counter and is perfect for iced tea. I usually buy from Williams Sonoma or Sur La Table, but the deals on Emile Henry were too good to pass up. The quality is really comparable to Le Creuset, but at a better price point.
Good deal on a Pie Dish
I was looking for a new pie dish and found one here. Got a pretty good price during their anniversary sale, saved about 20%. Shipping was free too which was nice. It feels sturdy, like it will last a long time. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth.
Ordered a Dutch Oven and more
I decided to splurge on a Dutch Oven after seeing it recommended online. I also added a Salt Pig and a couple of Cereal Bowls to my order. The ordering process on the website was straightforward enough, no real hiccups there. It took about five days for the package to ship out, which felt a little long, but then it arrived two days earlier than the tracking said it would, so that was a pleasant surprise. Everything was packed really well, with plenty of padding, so nothing broke. The Dutch Oven is heavy, as expected, and seems to hold heat really well. I've made a few stews already and they've all turned out great. The Cereal Bowls are a nice size and feel good in hand. I haven't used the Salt Pig yet, but it looks good on the counter. Customer service wasn't needed, so I can't speak to that. Overall, a good experience, I'd say.
My new favorite Bread Cloche
I just got the Bread Cloche and baked my first loaf, and it came out absolutely perfect! The crust was amazing. I'm so happy with this purchase. I'll be back for more things soon, this store is fantastic. You should definitely check them out too!
Solid bakeware, slow delivery
I ordered a Lasagna Baker and a couple of Ramekins. The quality of the ceramic is really nice, very substantial. They cook evenly, which is what I wanted. The packaging was good, everything arrived safely. My only complaint was that it took a bit longer to ship than I expected. The tracking updated a little slowly, but once it shipped, it got here pretty fast. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase but wish the initial processing was quicker.
